The 7th International Billfish Symposium Steering Committee will notify participants by July 19, 2024 on the status of their presentation. Presenters of accepted abstracts will need to register for the conference. Early Bird Registration discount ends August 2, 2024

Abstracts Should Include the Following:

1. Primary Author, Presenting Author (if not primary), Affiliation, and contact information including email address
2. Title
3. Abstract (300 word limit)
4. Abstract Type- Due to time limitations for oral presentations, some submitted abstracts may be recommended for a poster presentation.

  • Oral Presentation- ~15-minute presentation followed by 5 minutes for questions
  • Poster- To be presented during Poster Session/Networking Social

5. Keywords
6. Co-authors, affiliations, and email addresses

Presenters will have an opportunity to submit a paper for publication in a special issue of ICES Journal of Marine Science following the symposium. Accepted publication costs will be covered by the symposium
